New Gaming Computer Build January 2020

Hello Friends!

      Here I am with another PC Building video. I have been really busy for the last month, editing out stuff and makinga nice video for you to watch. You can learn a thing or two by watching it.

One thing I want to tell you all is that the technology has come a long way since its birth in the valleys. When the man first thought of a wheel and made it a reality. 

These thing we use today which get us online or should I say "virtualize", are just accessories, our appendages. We do not fully depend on them. 'They (technology) are because we are' - Not the other way round.

Also, I have always advised my fellows , my family, my friends, colleauges on shopping rampage, as you may say it, they are just our functionality boosters. You should only buy stuff only when absolutely necessary. You will not appreciate it and what you don't appreciate gets you dis-satisfied. You will never be satisfied unless you appreciate what you have.

LIFE DURING BACHELOR'S

Since the year 2014, I have been studying at NIEC, New Delhi doing my bachelor's degree in technology. My main motive was to do automation engineering. It was a well thought decision. Although most of my classmates thought of it as just the mechanical engineering and opted for it. Actually, the confusion arose because of the the code MAE - Mechanical and Automation Engineering. Those people who opted for the same , now whine and cry and regret for not choosing the core branch.

I feel better than all of those as I chose the right one for my future. Everytime there is interdisciplinary subject , they're all like "what the hell? This ain't mechanical engineering subject!!! What have the university done."

It's kinda hillarious when you think about it. They blame university and college for what they did in the beginning.

Apart from it, I have been doing some hard-working, studying and researching, collaboration with people in industry, and what not. Name it, I have done it for my development. 

I am right now in senior year and I am proud to say that I can very much do some automation, plan things, and manage a good team. 

In my free time, I am repairing electronics and building computer. I am also trying for jobs, going through a phase where interviews make us wise.

A Short Story : A dust particle in a sea of sand

        A world wrecked by the volcanoes. Everything was lost. Even the light from the sun couldnot reach the surface of the Earth. They searched every corner for survivors but ,Alas! They were the only ones left. They were ready to kill each other. the thoughts were like this "What in this world is our purpose now? What will we do in this age of wreck? There is nothing that will motivate us to live?"
        They went ahead of this thought and roamed aimlessly. They found a woman in the caves. She has been there for 5 days. They were amazed at the sight. They couldn't believe their eyes.
        None of them cared about what happened, all they cared about was to survive. And they indulged in plain, old , sweet love making. Not long, they were out of food and out of breath. For one momnet they would have thougt that they will survive and live forever. But they all perished like the paper becoming ash when burned. Universe did not care about them just like it does not care about others.
In the End it didn't even matter what they all did when they were alive. It was all like a writings on the Beach.

New Plans

Hello friends!

I haven't been active from a very long time , reason being the internet connection. I have not taken any plan and so was offline from last five months. But now everything is going to change. I will be taking some life changing decisions. First being getting a good internet connection.

I am thinking of starting a new blog dedicated to editing of comics scans and Editing I know of.

Updates maybe weekly or bi-weekly.

New Desktop Build Project - Assemble CPU under 15000 Rupees

A Friend of mine asked me " Is it possible to build a PC for casual gaming and still be under Rs.10000?"

He further added he want to do gaming more than any other thing. He wanted to add a 1TB HardDisk and so I told him it is very difficult to come up the parts that cheap and have desired performance. for instance I would personally use a 500GB HardDisk rather than a 1tb one as it is cheaper and I can always upgrade and add more later.

 I adviced him the budget is too low even for a low-end gaming PC, the processor and motherboard alone cost 6850, but he kept on insisting so I came up with a list of components to not overshoot the budget by a large difference. Only Rs.5000 more to the budget.

So, this is how it goes :

•         Processor - AMD Athlon 5150 (INR 3850)  Sempron 2650 (INR 2600)
•         RAM - Dynet 4GB (INR 2000)
•         Hard Disk - Seagate Barracuda 1TB (INR 3800)
•         Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-AM1M-S2H (INR 3000)
•         Power Supply - Zebronics Zeb-N450W (INR 600)
•         Internal Optical Drive - LG DVD Writer (INR 1200 900)

The total came out to be INR 14500 12950.
I think my friend is gonna be disappointed for a while but I'll see if it can be sorted out.

UPDATE : 2 Days Later
      Now that my friend has stretched his budget by 2000 to INR 12000, I think I can suggest him another processor with near performance of the selected one.
 Now I am suggesting him AMD Sempron 2650 which cost INR 2600. Which will bring down the total cost by 1250 to INR 13250.

BUDGET COMPUTER BUILD

        Owning a computer is everyone's dream just like owning a mobile phone or owning a bicycle. Everyone wants it but are constrained by the budget. So here is guide for you if you have a small budget.

        (Note :- The following PC build is just a bare minimum.)

Let's Start.

The Checklist

• CPU or Processor - For a budget, I would recommend an 'intel' processor, although I personally use an 'AMD' one. It can be a celeron or Pentium. As long as it fits inside the  budget, you are good to go.
• Motherboard - Any Motherboard from gigabyte or astar or any company which has the socket type compatible with the processor selling at low price.
• Hard Disk - A 500GB HDD would be sufficient.
• Power Supply or SMPS - This is the main component as it will provide juice (electricity) to run all components so it should be minimum 500 watts.
• Memory or RAM - 4GB is sufficient.
• Keyboard and Mouse combo - Any combo that goes with your budget.
• Monitor - A 15- inch monitor is good to go.
• UPS - Any UPS under your budget and capable of running the computer for around 10 minutes.
• Cabinet - To put all the components in.

Central Processing Unit

For a budget build intel Pentium G3220 with clock speed of 3GHz would be a great CPU. It support DDR3-1333 RAM. The processor has 2 cores.

 Its socket is LGA1150. So motherboard should support it. which bring us to next component - Motherboard.

Motherboard

Now, as the cpu would only fit inside socket LGA1150, the  motherboard should have socket LGA1150. MSI H81M-P33 would be a great motherboard for the cpu. Key Features of this motherboard are :-

Memory or RAM

Hynix the brand name you have never probably heard of but they make quality memory. And they are selling at cheap rates. Runs at 1600MHz clock speed.  The branded company purchase from Hynix and brand them and sell the RAM stick at higher prices to us, so it's better to purchase directly from them.
RAM Price : Rs.1178.

Power Supply Unit (SMPS)

Earlier I mentioned about using minimum of 500Watt smps. But you can safely use 450W psu. Buy Zebronics Value Plus 450W PSU. It has 6 SATA Cables.

WHAT IS MY PLAN

Sometimes I am in a very bad mood. I feel like my heart is gonna sink. Sometimes it actually does but then I think of the greater good. the great plan of life. What is life ? why are we all here? What is our purpose in the machine? and things like that cross my mind. 

    I do not speak much. and I do not participate in any thing that is in no connection with 'in what i believe'. You won't believe me but it's true. every word of it. I observe more and engage in a more productive activities. 

         After all this sometimes ..... or should I say most of the time I ecome tense. I don't konw why but I beome and say like that for a long time until there is something more to do or engage in. 

Sometimes this feeling goes nto late night. I think 'what is this?' 'Is it all true?'. 

I can't get rid of it until I start playing with my mind. and then it all stops.

It's not like that I don't have resources but it's like that. I use my resources to learn something, teach something New.

My plans unfold in a very weird manner. And now they are coming to the surface...

• Get a good reputation in society
• Earn a lot of money
• Make short films

Well! I think My plans keep on changing.. but whose plans don't? But these three are constant that have been and will be sticking to me for a long time.
